General Information

 

The 21st SBMO/IEEE MTT-S International Microwave and Optoelectronics Conference (IMOC) is an international event held in collaboration between the Brazilian Microwave and Optoelectronics Society (SBMO) and the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S). The conference focuses on the latest advancements in microwave, optoelectronics, and related technologies, covering topics such as wireless communications, radar systems, antennas, optical fibers, photonics, and emerging applications like IoT and 5G.

IMOC 2025 will serve as a leading international platform for sharing advancements in research and development across the theoretical and experimental domains of Microwaves and Optoelectronics. The conference will cover cutting-edge topics, including Millimeter Waves, Terahertz Technology, Antennas, Propagation, Wireless Communication, Fiber Optics, and Photonic Networks.

Marking its 20th edition, IMOC 2025 will take place in the vibrant city of Campina Grande, recognized for its outstanding Innovation Ecosystem. Situated near João Pessoa, this dynamic hub of technology and creativity will host the event from November 9th to 12th, 2025, offering an inspiring setting for collaboration and innovation.

A selection of invited speakers will highlight important and developing areas. Authors are asked to submit their camera ready papers in IEEE double column format. The papers will be assessed by an international review board. English is the official language of the conference and all published papers will appear on the IEEE Xplore system.
