Journal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetics Applications (JMOe)
Selected IMOC 2023 papers will be recommended for submission to JMOe
Highly-rated IMOC 2023 papers will receive a recommendation to submit an extended version to the Journal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications (JMOe), http://www.jmoe.org. The extended version should have additional results and material, well beyond the 3-page IMOC 2023 paper, and the submission and revision process will follow the JMOe proceedures.
Journal of Optical Communicatinos and Networking (JOCN)
Special Issue of the Journal of Optical Communications and Networking (JOCN) on the Impact of Photonic Technologies on Future Optical Networks
Journal of Optical Communications and Networking (JOCN) welcomes submissions to a special issue, in conjunction with IMOC 2023, on the role of photonic technologies and their most recent advances in support of network evolution. Selected IMOC 2023 papers covering this topic will receive a recommendation to submit an extended version to this JOCN Special Issue (https://opg.optica.org/jocn/journal/jocn/feature_announce/IPTFON.cfm).
Expanded conference paper needs to add value to the original conference proceedings and will be subject to the normal standards and peer review processes of the journal.
Micromachines
Micromachines (ISSN 2072-666X) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal, which provides an advanced forum for studies on micro/nano-scaled structures, materials, devices, and systems. The journal publishes reviews, original research articles, and communications in this field. The aim is to encourage scientists to publish their theoretical and experimental results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, there is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers or the number of electronic supplementary files. Full details on experiments, materials and methods must be provided for a research article so that the results can be reproduced. IMOC 2023 selected papers can be significantly expanded and submitted for consideration to the Micromachines Special Issue: "Selected Papers from the 20th SBMO/IEEE MTT-S International Microwave and Optoelectronics Conference (IMOC 2023)". Please go to https://www.mdpi.com/journal/micromachines/special_issues/7WN2F160G1 for additional information.
International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies
The International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies (IJMWT) welcomes the submission of expanded papers from recent conferences, meetings and symposia. In order to assist authors in producing articles suitable for submission, we have created the following guide with instructions on what to include or adapt in their expanded article.
Every expanded paper manuscript submitted for publication must clearly disclose the earlier publication, by providing reference in the Introduction to the conference paper to the effect: “An earlier version of this paper was presented at the XXX Conference and was published in its Proceedings [1].” Reference [1] should be a complete reference to the original conference article including a web link and its Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
Every conference paper is different, and so the instructions below provide general advice which should be followed in conjunction with the IJMWT submission guidelines, available in full here: https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/international-journal-of-microwave-and- wireless-technologies/information/instructions-contributors
• The body of the paper must be expanded to include new data and results.
• The paper submitted to IJMWT should have a new title. The introduction and
conclusions should be adjusted accordingly.
• Use feedback obtained from colleagues and the conference to update, revise, and
rewrite your conference paper, as appropriate, to improve the paper’s overall quality. Questions and comments raised at the conference should be incorporated and addressed in your expanded narrative.
• The cover letter accompanying the submission should summarise the key differences between the original conference paper and the expanded journal paper.
All papers submitted to the IJMWT will undergo our standard peer-review process and should be submitted via the IJMWT ScholarOne portal: https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/mrf
Please check if there is an option to submit your expanded conference article under a Special Issue associated with the conference. If not available, this work can be submitted as a standard research article.
